A way to support your studies

Idea

If you are willing to make an extra effort while doing your studies, the BiCS offers some paid internships.
An internship is something you do aside your studies: that is the reason why it represents an extra effort, but it’s also why you get paid.

Formats

Student Job

During a semester of studies. A studen job is formalised under a “Student Contract”.

Between 5-15hs/week.

Minimum contract duration: 2 months

Maximal contract duration: 12 months

Summer Job

During the summer break: i.e. once the summer exam session is over, and before the winter semester starts. A summer job is formalised under a “Seasonal Student Contract”.

Full time job (40hs/week).

Minimum contract duration: 3 weeks

Maximal contract duration: 2 months

Apply

Step 1

Find a member of the BiCS teaching staff who wants to be your supervisor.

We ask for this as the internship is funded by the BiCS study programme.

Step 2

Write the internship proposal such that it includes:

(a) name of the applicant, (b) name of the supervisor (including the course he/she teaches at the BiCS), (c) type of the internship (sudent job/summer job), (d) duration (start date and end date), (e) number of weekly working hours (5, 10, 15, or 40) and (f) objectives (up to 100 words).
