On Friday 7 October, 2022, a group of BiCS and BINFO students had the
opportunity to visit the High Performance Computing center of the
University of Luxembourg, located in Belval.
Professor Luis Leiva arranged the visit with the help of professor
Pascal Bouvry. Then Hyacinthe Cartiaux, infrastructure and architecture
engineer of the HPC, guided the students through the most important
clusters: iris and aion.
Students could appreciate the computing infrastructure we have in our
university, which remains the reference HPC implementation within the
country.
