Kick off sessions

As every start of a new academic year, kick off sessions for each cohort are organised the first day of courses.

When? Monday 19 September 2022 and the schedule is:

  • Year 1: 08:15 – 10:00
  • Year 2: 10:15 – 11:00
  • Year 3: 11:15 – 12:00

Where? Campus Belval, Maison des Sciences Humaines (MSH), Room “Black Box” .

Math Camp for freshman

As every year, the Department of Mathematics (DMATH) organises a Math Camp for freshman to ease the transition between high school and university.

The camp is arranged in two independent weeks.

Although participation is optional, BiCS’s freshman are strongly recommended to attend (at least) one of the weeks.

Presence and Teaching mode

From 8/11/2021: Full in-person

The University returns to full in-person teaching starting by 8 November 2021.

The guidelines aimed at organising the return to full on-site teaching can be found on the UL web site under Academic Regulations.

Valid until 8/11/2021 - Hybrid teaching

As of 20 September 2021, the University’s teaching is conducted in hybrid format during the winter semester 2021-2022. “Hybrid” mode offers a combination of in-person teaching for part of the class and remote streaming of the lecture to all other students.
